Plan for the bothy not being usable
A remote shelter can be full, damaged, hard to find in bad visibility or unsuitable on arrival. The kit list still needs to keep you warm, dry and able to navigate without depending on the building.
Core priorities
Navigation, waterproofs, insulation, food, water treatment, headtorch, repair kit and a shelter backup matter more than comfort extras.
